Work on building the base has started at last

Finally we've made a start on the base! 6 tonnes of Type 1 hardcore arrived on Wednesday and the shuttering boards arrived on Friday. Today Rob came to build the frame for the concrete base which started well but then the rain came. Added to this we didn't have enough hardcore. Fortunately Radbournes were able to help and delivered us another 3 tonnes which was just the job. The concrete is planned for next weekend, weather permitting.

That's about it for this week really. Sorry this isn't much of an update, but it's great to get things moving again after a few weeks of little progress.
