And the concrete is in
I opened the gates at 7 this morning for Rob and Nigel ahead of the concrete delivery. We laid the damp proof membrane then waited for Cemex to arrive with the 4.8m3 of C30 concrete with a 50-70 slump (so I'm told). After a frosty start they arrived at 9 and started to pour the concrete into the frame. Rob & Nigel filled the corners first, then along the shuttering and then came the big pour to fill the rest of the hole. They used rakes to pull the concrete around and then tampered with a 6m long piece of timber. Now we just wait for it to go off and we can remove the shuttering and it'll be job done!
