Concrete set, shuttering is off

So, Rob came by on Saturday morning and took the shuttering off after a week of leaving the concrete to set. It was a cold week but not so cold that the temperature might damage the concrete so that was good. We dug away the pegs and then removed the shuttering boards and all was well. Rob then cut an expansion gap in the slab to allow for movement and should the concrete crack, this gives it a place to crack rather than it doing a comic book crack from one corner to the other! Today we laid out a row of logs to see the size of the log cabin - it's going to be great. That's about it for now, nothing more from me I wouldn't think until the build starts...roll on January!
